We’re a PLM implementation company.  We’ve worked with lots of different PLM technologies but have got into the Aras technology during the last year in a big way because we think its really good.  It’s just so modern flexible compared with older systems.  It’s great for us also because, as a services company, we can get PLM projects going with Aras more easily because of the absence of upfront software license costs. 

Of course, alternative software licensing models are quite the thing at the moment and are becoming widely accepted within businesses.  They might even re-shape the PLM software industry.

Anyway, we decided to write an article that explains why we think Aras is a great PLM platform.

In it we explore in detail the 3 reasons, why in our view, UK engineering firms (we’re in the UK, but the article applies to anywhere really) should take a serious look at Aras for improving how they manage & control their engineering processes & information.
